The largest infrastructural linear project surveyed using an unmanned aerial vehicle in the world carried out in Croatia
The area along the left foreshore of Sava River from Račinovci (rkm 212.080) to the Trnava confluence at Nova Gradiška (rkm 464.500) is protected against floods by a continual line of river dikes covering the total length of 236 km.

Upon drafting the project, a georeferencing video of the Sava River was created covering the respective section and a geoid model for the project area.
The call for drafting bids for the project “Undertaking of Preparatory works, Drafting of the Main Design and Tender Documentation for Construction Permits for Renewal of the Waterway on the Sava River up to Class Va from Belgrade to Brčko (rkm0.0-rkm234.0)” was published and issued by the Ministry of Transport and Communication of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 24 May 2012. The company Vodoprivredno-projektni biro d.d. from Zagreb in a consortium with the company IGH d.d. also from Zagreb was selected as the most favourable bidder and based on the mentioned bid, the contract was signed on 20 September 2013 between the mentioned parties.

EU project for improving the Srednje posavlje flood protection system
The EU co-financed study documentation was completed for Hrvatske vode (Croatian Waters), as the end-user, relating to the largest system of flood control in the Republic of Croatia. The project covers the central protected region of the Republic of Croatia along the Sava River over an area of 800 square kilometres.
The Bosut “river without a source” finally connected to the Sava River
It involves the largest national project for irrigation and multi-purpose utilisation of water, construction of a supply melioration channel for irrigating the Biđ-Bosutsko field in the Brod-Posavina and Vukovar-Srijem Counties. Upon completing the construction, the large mechanism was put into operation which enables irrigation of up to 7,000 ha of the Biđ-Bosutsko field.

Work by the VPB company on developing a simulation model for Srednje posavlje has lasted over 10 years. In fact, the latest version (version 4) has just been completed.
Pilot project for irrigating woody plants on utilized karst areas
Ensuring ample quantities of water from depleted aquifers specifically for irrigation of agricultural crops grown on karst surfaces represents a scientific and professional challenge. From the idea of obtaining a construction permit, preparation of the Donje Polje – Jadrtovac public irrigation project was successfully finalised on 274 ha, close to Vrpolje near Šibenik.
