Modernisation of Left-Bank Sava River Dikes from Račinovci to Nova Gradiška”
Permits for the project “Modernisation of Left-Bank Sava River Dikes from Račinovci to Nova Gradiška” to be issued soon. The project started in 2017 with the goal to increase the flood safety through additional strengthening of the foundation soil of the dike against hydraulic failure and more efficient implementation of flood protection measures, by constructing a service road elevated above the ground level on the land side of the dike. The design solution foresees the construction of a berm on the land side of the dike, with solutions including a water tight curtain foreseen on the sections of special designs.
The preparation of technical documents implies the preparation of preliminary designs, plot plans and detailed designs, and eventually the issuance of the required location and building permits. Since the beginning of 2017, 16 location permits (out of 18 in total), 17 building permits (out of 21 in total), and 55 plot plans (out of 56 in total) have been obtained. The project scope covers the total length of 172.4 km, which in administrative terms includes 2 counties, 16 local self-government units, 40 cadastral municipalities, 35 public law bodies, and 6 competent ministries.
